Housing story

When a new development was proposed in my backyard (literally), I was very excited! It meant that I would be able to walk to a new gym, restaurants, healthcare, and we’d have a couple hundred new residents. I learned first-hand that my neighbor’s fear of traffic was enough for them to speak out against the development and new homes. This pushback reinforced my passion for creating communities that are welcoming to all and prompted me to start advocating!
